Use a Static Image Ad node to create image ads for a chosen platform and placement. You set the message, headline and call to action, choose which sources the model must follow, then approve or reject the results.

For related setup tasks, read Create a cast character and Create a campaign.

Pick your approach

Task How to approach it
Product introduction Make the product and its main benefit obvious. Connect a Product source if its look matters.
Problem and solution Show a recognizable problem and how the product helps, with visual, headline and CTA on one message.
Person-led or UGC-style Use an everyday setting and a person. Connect Cast for a specific actor. A generated image isn’t a real testimonial.
Brand-led promotion Connect Brand Kit, state the offer clearly, choose a fitting CTA. Verify any price or discount.
Concept exploration Request several concepts with the same core message to compare directions.

Create an ad

1. Name the ad

Give it a name that shows its purpose, such as Summer collection · problem solution · portrait feed, then click Configure static image ad.

2. Choose placement first

Select the Platform (for example, Meta) and Placement, such as Feed - Portrait · 1080×1350 (4:5). Set this before writing composition details so the visual fits the space.

3. Set the creative direction

Choose Creative intent, Creative approach (for example, problem solution), Visual treatment (for example, ugc social) and how many Creative concepts to request (1–10).

4. Write the copy

Enter the Headline and Call-to-action text, choose how the CTA appears (for example, Button), set the Language, and pick Ad colours. Connected Brand Kit colours are preselected.

5. Write the creative prompt

Describe the composition, subject, setting, action, lighting and text treatment. State exclusions such as No other text. Type @ to refer to an attached or linked asset.

6. Check references and render

Confirm which references are actually being sent, choose the Provider, Model and Quality, then generate.

7. Approve or reject

Review each ad and click the checkmark to Approve it or × to Reject it.

Note: A CTA button drawn in the image is part of the picture. It doesn’t set up the clickable button in your live campaign. Approving an ad marks it as kept; it doesn’t publish anything.

Example prompt

Maya, a Shopify store owner, sits at her kitchen table in @Location 01 with a laptop open on one clean YieldBI dashboard. She looks relieved and smiles at the camera. Warm morning window light, natural phone-photo realism, authentic UGC feel. Headline: Stop guessing. Start knowing. Small YieldBI logo in a bottom corner. No other text.

Keep the headline in your prompt identical to the Headline field; conflicting text makes the direction ambiguous.

Control what the model follows

Connected sources take priority over an uploaded sample ad:

Source Controls Rule
Cast Face and identity. Replaces the actor in any sample ad. Strict
Product Shape, logo and colours Strict
Brand Kit Brand rules Strict
Sample ad Layout and art direction only Style only

If a sample ad has the layout you want but the wrong person or product, keep it for layout and connect your own Cast and Product. The result follows the sample’s direction but isn’t a pixel-perfect copy.

Under References sent to model, check what’s actually selected (for example, 3/6 sent). Being on the canvas isn’t the same as being sent. Remove any you don’t want with ×.

Refresh render (same sources) makes another render with the same inputs; it won’t give an identical result.

Review before approving

Check Ask
Placement Does the composition work in this aspect ratio, including near the edges?
Message Is the idea clear at a glance, and does the visual support the headline?
Product Do shape, colours, logos and details match the source?
Actor and setting Is it the right person, in a setting that fits?
Brand Are colours and logo placement right?
Copy Is the headline and CTA spelled correctly and legible?
Generated detail Check hands, objects, packaging and screens closely.
Claims and offers Are prices, promotions and claims accurate?

Ctrl-click (Windows) or Cmd-click (Mac) to preview an image. Previous generations stay available. If an ad misses, refine the brief, check sources, or render again, keeping the core message the same so you can tell what changed.
